Women's soccer draws with Rose-Hulman

Despite out-shooting the visiting Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, 11-6, the Hanover College women’s soccer team was unable to find the net in two overtime periods to force a scoreless tie. The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference match-up was held, Saturday Oct. 20, at the L.S. Ayres Athletic Complex.

Eight Hanover seniors were honored before the game, as the Panthers' record moved to 11-4-1 overall and 4-2-1 in the HCAC with the deadlock.

Rose-Hulman, meanwhile, improves to 8-6-3 and 3-2-2 HCAC.

Freshman Autry Graham (Versailles, Ky.) led Hanover with three shots, while classmate Anne-Spicer Adams (Midway, Ky.) and senior Kelly McRoberts (Louisville, Ky.) both had two shots apiece.

The Panthers' defense held the Engineers to six shots and senior goalkeeper Bethann Hancock (Lexington, Ky.) notched three saves.
