A Thomas More penalty kick slipped by Seewer late in the 47th minute to push the lead to 2-0 before Hanover took over offensively. Seewer finished with five saves, holding the Saints scoreless for the remainder of regulation and two 10-minute bonus periods.
Hanover forward John Wittich (West Chester, Ohio), a junior, broke free for an unassisted strike in the 69th minute to ignite the Panthers' rally.
Freshman midfielder Alex Hanke (Evansville, Ind.) notched his second goal of the season, netting a Matt Grau (Cincinnati, Ohio) assist to even the score at 2-2 with 12 minutes remaining in regulation.
Hanover continued the offensive pressure, outshooting the Saints 17-14, but were unable to score again through the remainder of regular time and 20 minutes of overtime.
