
Sophomore men's tennis player Brandon Ramsey (Centerville, Ind.), along with seniors Kyle Bohnert (Louisville, Ky.) and Matt Strandmark (Madison, Ind.), have earned post-season honors from the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference.
Ramsey was selected first-team all-HCAC by the Heartland Conference's 10 head coaches. Bohnert earned honorable-mention recognition, while Strandmark was named to the league's all-sportsmanship team.
Playing in the Nos. 1-2 slots, Ramsey finished the season with a 6-10 singles record in dual matches. He was 4-4 in Hanover's Heartland Conference bouts.
Ramsey posted a 7-11 record while pairing with Strandmark and junior Steve Gilliam (Fishers, Ind.) at Nos. 1-2 doubles.
Bohnert, a two-time all-Heartland Conference honoree, tallied an 11-6 record at Nos. 2-4 singles for the Panthers. He was 6-3 in conference matches.
Bohnert was 8-5 in doubles contests. He combined with five different partners and played in all three doubles positions.
Strandmark, twice named to the HCAC’s sportsmanship unit, was 8-11 overall and 6-3 in the league at Nos. 5-6 singles.
He was 7-9 while playing in Nos. 1-3 doubles. He teamed with four different players in double matches.
Under head coach Rich Lord, Hanover posted an 8-10 overall record. The Panthers finished sixth in the Heartland Conference with a 4-5 mark.
